Now it seems very likely that Roger Vanden Stock will leave his position at the Belgian Football Federation, the Anderlecht chairman can fully concentrate on his club. Today he looked ahead to the clash with Racing Genk.

On RSCA.tv he talked about the strength of our next opponent: "The team that occupies the number one spot is always the best team. At this moment that's Racing Genk. I didn't think they would continue to perform so well," Vanden Stock admitted. "But after their bad preparation, the ball started to roll for them. Everything was working for them."

The chairman also commented on the fact that Anderlecht's performances have not always been up to par. Its so-called trademark champagne-football is lacking. "That's term out of the past. In 2007 that's become impossible. And though I am not happy with our performances, we do occupy the second spot. That's our strength."
