At the international tournament of Viareggio the Anderlecht youngsters showed they were a group with potential, yet few players are able to break through. One reason might be the low level of the reserves league.

According to Jean Kindermans, the head of the Anderlecht training centre in Neerpede, sees two solutions to this problem: "The youngsters could be allowed to play in a lower professional division, like the second division for example, or create an additional championship for the best youngsters. Otherwise youngsters like Kums, Allagui and Siani will continue to try their luck elsewhere."
