The Kroat Ivica Mornar demands that he gets a new contract very fast. He claims he has an interesting proposal for 3,5 years from a club out of a 'big football country'.

"Or Anderlecht offers me a new contract, or I can leave", says the Kroat, who is now on practice stage with Anderlecht in Maspalomas on the Canarian Islands.

Anderlecht still waits for the first official offer for Mornar. If the Mauves let him go now, they want money. The striker is free at the end of this season. "Mornar told me that there was interest from a foreign club before the practice stage", says the manager of Anderlecht, Herman Van Holsbeeck. "But that team didn't contact us yet. We will offer Mornar a contract till 2005 with an option for a second one. We don't want to lose him this winter, except when there's a huge offer from an interested club.
