Until yesterday Manchester United didn't make a concrete offer for Vincent Kompany. According to the English press Manchester would be prepared to give 15 million euro for the young defender.

"It's still our goal to keep the current team together", says Herman Van Holsbeeck. "We will consider each offer, but it's clear that we will only consider very serious offers. We know that Manchester United often sent scouts and that Alex Ferguson personnaly watched the match Celtic - Anderlecht, but we still haven't heard of an offer from Manchester."
