Anderlecht-Rapid: 3-2

To say it with the words of Mister Michel: "unike, great, I have no words for it". Though the victory was deserved for the Mauves.


Anderlecht started well with a chance of Aruna after 2 minutes. Then the game got in balance. The next good chance was for Seol after 30 minutes, but his shot missed the post for inches.Though it was Bucharest that scored on a counter attack. Godfroid passed Kompany and centered and the free Illyes could score and easy goal.

Two minutes later, Bratu doubled the score with a nice shot from 12 meter.

During the break, Wilhelmsson came in for Hasi. After a few minutes he centered and Jestrovic opened the score for Anderlecht with a header: 1-2.Two minutes later, the Mauves scored again. Seol centered from his flank, Jestrovic missed his shot, but Zetterberg equalised. One minute later, Aruna's shot died on the post.

Rapid tried to strike back, but Tihinen and Zitka prevented the goal.

Anderlecht kept on pushing forward and Seol scored with a header after a free kick: 3-2. Anderlecht were qualified!
