Serhat Akin made a decision. He doesn't want to stay in Brussels. "I want to leave the club in January. It doesn’t matter if it’s a definite transfer or on loan. I just want to leave and go on with my career."

"I’m not happy anymore. I’m 25 years old and I have already played for the biggest team of Turkey. I’m not mad at Anderlecht, but I want to move on, and that’s not possible on the bench.”

“After the game against Ghent I made my mind up. Normally I was in the team, and two minutes before the start Vercauteren came to tell me that’s someone else would replace me. That only happens in fourth division. There is some interest from German and Turkish teams. I hope that one of the team manages is able to reach an agreement with Anderlecht”, concludes Akin.
