Vercauteren: "We have to win in Lille"

Anderlecht lost important points against AA Ghent this weekend, but tomorrow already another game is scheduled. If they want to qualify for the next group stage of the Champions League, they have to win against Lille.


"I can't say anything bad about the dedication and motivation of the team last weekend. We just missed many chances and gave away goals, so it was a negative result. It's important we don't think of the defeat now, that would be a bad preparation for Lille", said Vercauteren.

"Our task is very clear in France: we have to win. We played very well against Lille in the first match, so we showed we are able to defeat them. This will be a decisive game. It won't be easy to win, but we start the game with the mentality to gain the victory."
