Serkan Akin: "Ready to stand on my own two feet"

Serkan Akin has been living in the shadow of his brother Serhat all his life, but that seems to change in the future. "I'm ready to stand on my own two feet in case my brother leaves Anderlecht. Our future can be separated."


Serkan Akin plays well for the Anderlecht reserve team. "I get many chances to play there, but I have higher ambitions than that. I'm happy to see that Frank Vercauteren also attends our games. And I learn a lot from my brother, of course."

The young Turkish player also wants to become coach. "I'm negotiation with Anderlecht at the moment to become youth trainer. It would be great to pass on my experiences to youngsters."
