RSCA-Lille: Anderlecht’s chances

Former Anderlecht midfielder Christian Wilhelmsson and his new team played against Lille last Saturday. “Anderlecht has every possibility to win. Lille shows a lot of comparisons with Club Brugge.”


“They are well organised, disciplined and physically strong. All danger, however, results from one man: Peter Odemwingie. He is incredibly fast and blazes with confidence after his five competition goals. Anderlecht, on the other hand, possesses a great deal more talent and this draw is therefore the ideal opportunity to reach the second round.”
Lille has a Belgian in its ranks as well: Kevin Mirallas, almost 19 and youth international. “Anderlecht should be wary of Lille, but the same goes for us, since they have a very good team. Tchité, Boussoufa, Hassan: the offensive field fits together. Their defence, however, shows some deficiencies, but Anderlecht has enough talent at its disposal to resolve that problem”, according to Mirallas.
