There is no need to say that the Anderlecht players were very happy after the victory against Club Bruges. They did not make a great performance, but with this win they are six points ahead on Bruges. We caught some reactions.

"We scored, that's the difference", stated Bart Goor. "It was a difficult game, with only a few chances. Bruges could not afford to lose, that's why they played so defensively. But there came more chances at the end of the game. We are now six points ahead, that could be important in the end. We will lose points anyway later this season", he concluded.

Daniël Zitka was the man of the match with some terrific saves. "The first half was very calm, I didn't have anything to do. Afterwards we showed that we are a very skilled team, and we won the game. Winning this game feels great", says Zitka.

"It was difficult, but the victory is the most important", is also the opinion of Olivier Deschacht. "Vercauteren was doubting whether I would play in the centre of on the left wing. The line-up was still a big question mark one hour before the game. That was difficult for us, but we made it", states Deschacht.

"We had the best chances, so we deserved the victory", says Mbark Boussoufa. "It's normal you play more defensively after that goal. We have twelve points after four games, that's all that counts", is Boussoufa's opinion.

"I enjoyed the game, but I was also very tensed", felt coach Franky Vercauteren. The result is perfect, the game was not that great."
