No games in the Jupiler League are scheduled this weekend, and this is a very welcome break for Anderlecht. Many players are injured or absent, although they will challenge Panathinaikos.

Many players are on international duty. Hassan is playing with Egypt against Uruguay, Juhasz has been called up for the game with Hungary against Austria, and Davy Schollen, Anthony Vanden Borre, Jelle Van Damme and Bart Goor will play with the Belgian squad against Kazachstan on August 16.

But also injuries keep torturing Anderlecht. Akin started with an individual training, but joined the group later. Frutos also did a part of the training session and Pareja followed an individual scheme. Both Proto and Van Steenberghe are still rehabilitating. Cheik Tioté received bad news. He was entirely back after his injury, but now his knee got infected. He will be out for about a week. Argentinian midfielder Lucas Biglia got kicked on training, but without any serious damage.
