Vercauteren: "You can't say no to an invitation from Real"

Vercauteren does not like to be bothered. But if you think a game against Real Madrid five days before the big clash against Club Bruges bothers him, you get it wrong. The Anderlecht coach is even happy with the invitation.


"They asked me what I thought about the invitation", reacts Vercauteren. "It has advantages, but also disadvantages. But you cannot say no to an invitation of Real Madrid. It might increase the chance on injuries, but Zitka and Proto showed that also training sessions increase that chance. I think this game is a good preparation for the important game against Bruges. I hope the players will get motivated by that game", concludes Vercauteren.
