With Mohammed Tchité, a new reinforcement arrived in Brussels. Tchité was the second best striker in the league last season and played for Standard. He signed for four seasons.

Tchité found it a hard decision to make, but is happy. He let the sportive aspect decide. According to the Walloon media, he'll become one of the best paid players in Brussels (which is doubtful according to our sources).

Tchité cost 1.5 million euro and passed the medical tests. He scored 16 goals in 33 games for Standard. With Anderlecht, the striker will have to fight for a place in the team. He faces competition of Frutos, Mbo Mpenza and Serhat. Besides that, there's upcoming talent with Legear and Allagui.

So it's up to the players to prove themselves right now. Secretarian Philippe Colin told is that the club did everything to build a strong team. A lot was invested, so now the players need to answer the expectations.
