Franky Vercauteren in under pressure. Future sportive director Pär Zetterberg defends the trainer. "This is not Vercauteren's fault", says Zetterberg.

"Everyone is responsible. It's not normal that GBA had more spirit to win. We showed no character. The team seems scared and the players are questioning themselves. It has nothing to do with Vercauteren or his tactics", said the Swede.

"Vercauteren doesn't ask much, but his instructions aren't followed. He wants us to put pressure on the other team, but in stead we start to defend. That way, you get into trouble."

"We need to regain the pleasure of playing football. I see good performances on training and we have fun. But it's totally different in a game. It's a huge difference and the pressure is rising."

Meanwhile, the newspapers are looking for explainations for the bad results. They came to the same conclusion as this website already did: in the 20 games Anderlecht played, they never played with the same team. 26 different players were lined-up and three different formations were used (4-4-2, 3-5-2, 4-3-3).
