Zewlakow: "Maybe I will stay in Anderlecht"

Michal Zewlakow has become a key player in the defence of Anderlecht the last few weeks. However, he was very unhappy about a month ago. "I am not longer against extending my contract", the defender stated.


"I play regularly and my confidence is growing", reacts Zewlakow. "Maybe I will stay longer in Anderlecht, but then I want to have a talk with the coach first. I want to make sure that he counts on me in the future."

"FC Barcelona is my favourite team. But I do not think they are waiting for me in Spain or Italy. The financial aspect is important when you are already 29 years old. But I also want to feel important for a team. Vercauteren shows now that I can be a key player. I just need confidence", says Michal Zewlakow.
