Due to heavy snowfall, the game between Standard and Anderlecht was postponed. Seen the current form of the Brussels' team, this may be a good thing. Though the players regret they can't play.

The Anderlecht players prepared the game against Standard in isolation, but now the match is postponed.
Annoying? Or not? "That's obvious: we wanted to play", explains Glen De Boeck. "Everyone wanted to erase the bad prestations against Westerlo and Chelsea. In stead, the players now have the weekend off."

But the disappointment in Liège is certainly as big.
"Our field would have been ready. We had 50 people to make the ground snow free", says Standard's assistant coach Stéphane Demol.

"This is disappointing. We were well prepared for the game. This may have been a great moment to hit Anderlecht", concludes Demol.
