Charleroi still eager to land Baseggio

Sporting Charleroi contacted Anderlecht about a possible transfer of Walter Baseggio last summer. The move did not go through then, but the manager of Charleroi has not lost his interest in the midfielder.


He still wants Baseggio to come to Charleroi. Because he will become father in December, it is not likely that he will make a move to a foreign team.
