Deschacht: "My career is being stopped at the moment"

It was the second time in a row that Olivier Deschacht had to sit on the bench, last Saturday against Charleroi. After the match, Deschacht was all but happy.

"Has the coach made the good choice? We have won the match, so I suppose it was the good decision. It is as simple as that!"

"The coach decides about my situation, you know. I have to live with that. Anyway, it is painful to sit on the bench again. My career is now being stopped. Everything that I have built up over the last few years, seems to be forgotten. However, I have the feeling that I am still the same player as four years ago. I hope to get out of this tunnel as fast as possible."
