Anderlecht-manager Herman Van Holsbeeck realises that his club is too weak for the Champions League at the moment. "We have to be humble now and admit that the Champions League is too good for us."

"We are disappointed again. Anderlecht are the best club in Belgium, but we are not good enough in Europe. Maybe we would be better off in the Uefacup. The quality of the English, German, Spanish or Italian teams is way higher than ours for now", Van Holsbeeck explained.

"But we are working on it. With Juhasz and Frutos we want to transform Anderlecht into a club that can go for the 3rd place in the group stage of the Champions League."

Further, Herman Van Holsbeeck is also unhappy with the behaviour of striker Nenad Jestrovic. He was sent off against Liverpool. Jestrovic insulted Liverpool-midfielder Mohamed Sissoko. Referee Kim Milton Nielsen noticed that and showed Jestrovic the red card.

"We don't approve Jestrovic' behaviour. We'll certainly take some actions against it, but we won't tell the press what we're up to. It's not the first incident. First, we had is listless warming-up against Brugge followed by a stupid yellow card. Now he got sent off in Liverpool."

So it looks like Anderlecht are willing to let Jestrovic leave in January. "With Frutos, we have a new striker. Nenad can leave", concludes Van Holsbeeck.
