Manager Kompany: "He will stay"

Belgian defender Vincent Kompany will not leave RSC Anderlecht this summer despite attracting the interest of many important European clubs.


Vincent Kompany is set to remain for another season in Belgium as his agent, Luca Pelizzon, confirmed that the 19 year-old will not leave Anderlecht this summer.

"He renewed his contract up till 2009 and will remain at Anderlecht at 100%. The player and the club have agreed on continuing together at least until June of next year."

Many clubs are after the services of the young talent, including Milan, Inter, Manchester United and Barcelona.
