After the clash between Anderlecht and Brugge, several disappointed reactions came from the Anderlecht side. Yves Vanderhaeghe and Anthony Vanden Borre gave a short explaination of the game.

Vanden Borre: "We tried to bring good football, but it wasn't easy because of the bad condition of the field and because of that early goal we took. Brugge tried to kill the game with a tough defense, but I also want to congratulate them with the good first half they played. We have our ticket for the Champions League now, but we wanted the title..."

Yves Vanderhaeghe: "We couldn't reach a decent level in the first half, but over the full game, we had the best chances. That's why I'm disappointed with the result. We took two stupid goals. In the second half, Brugge got scared and started defending the draw. I thought I scored, but my shot was just a little bit too high. Though we did well in the last few weeks..."
