Easy win for Sweden against Bulgaria

In group 8 of the preliminary stage of the WC 2006, Christian Wilhelmsson was able to achieve an easy win with Sweden against Bulgaria. The final result was 0-3. Ljungberg made the opening goal for Sweden after 17 minutes.

As the Bulgarian player Markov received the red card in the 59th minute, the game was totally over. Edman made the 0-2 after 73 minutes, Ljungberg scored the final 0-3 result with a penalty kick. Because of this win, Sweden stays leader of group 8.
