Anderlecht trio loses with Belgian U19

YOUTH The Belgian U19 lost their first match in the elite round for next summer's European Championships 0-2 to France. Lars Montegnies (pictured) was in the starting lineup, but was replaced at halftime by Tristan Degreef. Luca Monticelli remained on the bench.


Belgium will play Lithuania on Saturday and the Netherlands on Tuesday. Both games will take place in the Dutch town of Veendam. The group winner after these three duels may go to the European Championship next summer in Northern Ireland.
