Anderlecht interested in Ajax Belgian Idumbo

TRANSFERS Walloon transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports in a podcast on Youtube that Anderlecht is very interested in Stanis Idumbo. This 18-year-old Belgian currently plays for Ajax II in the Dutch second division and is considered a great talent.


Idumbo is a 1m70 tall attacking midfielder. Anderlecht already inquired about the transfer conditions of Idumbo, who is end of contract in Amsterdam at the end of this season. Anderlecht sees Idumbo first developing further at the Futures before integrating into the first team.

Idumbo is considered one of the greatest Belgian talents of his generation. He played for the youth of Club Brugge (until 2017) and Gent (2017 - 2021). However, when Gent wanted to offer him a professional contract at 16, he chose Ajax.

At Ajax, Idumbo made his debut with the second team in the second division in January of this year. This season, his tally stands at seven starts, three substitutions and three goals.
