Goalkeepers: Anderlecht talks to Hermansen among others

TRANSFERS Mads Hermansen is one of the candidates to become Anderlecht's new goalkeeper. According to transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Anderlecht already spoke to the 23-year-old Dane and the interest is mutual. However, Purple White are also in contact with other goalkeepers.


Hermansen has been the first goalkeeper of Brondby, the club of his youth, for two years. He is a former youth international and was in the Danish selection at the March and June internationals. Hermansen still has a contract at Brondby until mid-2025. His market value is estimated at €3.5m.

Anderlecht, however, is following several avenues as regards the new goalkeeper. German Noah Atubolu also remains an option, although his salary demands are on the high side. Atubolu wants to become first goalkeeper at Freiburg or leave.
