TRANSFERS Racing Genk is looking for an experienced goalkeeper and has ended up with Hendrik Van Crombrugge. The Limburgers must start their European campaign as early as the end of July. There have already been talks at club level but nothing concrete.
Current Genk goalkeeper Maarten Vandevoordt is currently still at the European U21 Championship and has a few weeks' leave afterwards. Genk therefore has to start preparations without its experienced goalkeeper and it wants to give young Mike Penders some time to grow. So an experienced goalkeeper steps up and that's where Van Crombrugge comes in.
