TRANSFERS The chances of Mohamed Bouchouari returning to Anderlecht after a successful loan spell to Emmen are very slim. In an interview with Anderlecht-Online, the right back tells us that his manager is in contact with several clubs.

Bouchouari exchanged RSCA Futures for Dutch first division side Emmen on the last day of the summer term. He played 28 games there, in which he scored once and gave one assist.

A successful loan spell, in other words. But is a return to Anderlecht in the cards? We put that question to the 22-year-old right back. "At the moment my focus is on the end of the season with Emmen," he told Anderlecht-Online.

With one matchday to go, Emmen is already sure of sixteenth place in the Eredivisie. That means it must play nacompetition for retention. "I hope to finish the season nicely and together with my mates ensure that Emmen stays in the Eredivisie," he said.

"Chance small that I will return"

"Towards the end of the season we will make a decision about my future," Bouchouari continued. A return to Anderlecht may not come. "Never say never, but the chance is very small," he confides.

However, the right back does not have to complain about a lack of interest. "My agent already told me about interest from different clubs from Belgium and from the Dutch Eredivisie. He was also in contact with them," Bouchouari said. "Recently, some clubs from other countries have also come forward. Talks are also being held with them."

Interested clubs will also have to find an agreement with Anderlecht. Bouchouari still has a contract with purple-white until the end of next season. Due to his good performance at Emmen, his market value has risen to 500,000 euros.
