'Liverpool want Verbruggen as future number one'

TRANSFERS English newspaper The Sun reports that Bart Verbruggen is at the very top of Liverpool's wish list. The club is taking into account a departure next summer of Caoimhín Kelleher, the current second goalkeeper. The Reds see in Verbruggen the ideal replacement, it sounds.


According to The Sun, Verbruggen has the ideal age and is at the ideal stage of his career for taking on this challenge and perhaps eventually becoming first goalkeeper.

The newspaper also writes that Liverpool should not hesitate for too long as other clubs may then snatch Verbruggen.
