Hugo Broos is fired

Anderlecht's management committee has decided to fire Hugo Broos today after another disappointing match yesterday in Gent (0-0). Anderlecht is now 14 points behind Bruges and the title appears more and more impossible.

Hugo Broos arrived in Anderlecht during the summer of 2002 in remplacement of Aimé Anthuenis and won the title with the club in 2004. Franky Vercauteren will replace him until a new trainer is engaged.
