Hugo Broos was disappointed: "Genk deserve the victory, because of all their chances. But we also deserved better, because of our ball possession and the way we played. We didn't attack good today."

"We controled the game, except for the first twenty minutes. Peerman had nothing to do. But we didn't create any good chances, we attack badly."

"The tactics and the formation of Genk didn't surprise me. Genk defended our attackers very strictly, which means that they were afraid. Especially in the beginning they made use of the wings."

"Once you have so much ball possession, you should make use of that, and create many chances. But that didn't work out today."

"We have to concentrate entirely on the competition now, we can't make any mistakes anymore. We have to win against Sint-Truiden Saturday, and the match against Mons. If we win those games, we are 4 points behind Bruges, and everything is still possible then. It's simple now, we only have one goal left: winning the title."
