Official: Dewaele via Ostend to Nancy

TRANSFERS Anderlecht also managed to get rid of Sieben Dewaele yesterday. The 22-year-old midfielder signs a contract with KV Oostende, but they immediately lend him to sister club Nancy.


Dewaele signs a four-year contract with Ostend. "Sieben is a young Belgian player with a lot of potential. It is therefore not surprising that he has been on our radar for a while. We wanted to get him at the start of this transfer period, but that was not possible at the time," says Gauthier Ganaye.

"Because we recently attracted two midfielders with Amadé and Koziello and Nancy needed reinforcements in that position, it was opportune to let him play one season with Nancy first. Next season he will return to the Belgian league with an extra year of experience.”

 Nancy is currently last in Ligue 2 with just one point from six games.
