Only 5,000 tickets sold for Supercup

Who still wants to buy a ticket for the Supercup match between Anderlecht and Bruges tomorrow, won't have any problems. There were only among 5,000 tickets sold on Monday evening, inculding 2,000 tickets for the business seats.


Only 7,000 to 9,000 fans are expected to be in the Vanden Stock stadium tomorrow, nevertheless it is a clash between the two biggest rivals in Belgium. Anderlecht and Bruges will share the proceeds, but they won't become rich of the Supercup. Above all this, only 950 fans of Club Bruges are allowed in the stadium of Anderlecht, because of security reasons.

Anderlecht should sell at least 7,000 tickets to make profit. The club wanted to give its season ticket holders free entrance, but that was prohibited by the Profleague, that organises the Supercup.
