Anderlecht and Belgian international defender Vincent Kompany has ruled out any chance of completing an imminent move abroad.

The young talented player has been scouted by a number of European sides in the past year, and speculations he could be making his way out of Park Astrid this winter to complete a move abroad are being fuelled in.

However, Kompany put an end to the rumours by confirming he had no intentions to leave Anderlecht this year.

"A January transfer is not possible, I'm still studying at the moment and I first want to finish my studies in Brussels. If I pass, only then I might consider a transfer."

Newcastle United, Inter Milan and Barcelona are reportedly interested in landing the defender’s services
