TRANSFERS Anderlecht has informed Isaac Kiese Thelin that it expects the striker to return to Brussels after last league game with Malmö. Purple & White has loaned out the striker until the end of this year. Malmö will, however, try to keep Thelin after New Year.

Thelin still has a contract with Anderlecht until mid-2022. Malmö wants to keep him, however. "We're working on it," said sports director Daniel Andersson at Fotboll Skane. "We have not given up hope and we hope that he will also play with us next year. He is our first choice, because he was very important to us last season. If we fail to keep Thelin, we will look at other options."

In Sweden, the competition runs according to the calendar year. With thirteen goals and four assists, Thelin had a large share in Malmö's recent title. He also scored three goals in the Europa League.
