Official: Doumbia to Sporting Lisbon

TRANSFERS Sporting Lisbon has attracted former Anderlecht-player Idrissa Doumbia. After only six months at Ahmat Grozny he moves to the Portuguese top club. 20 percent of the transfer fee is for Anderlecht.


How much Sporting paid for Doumbia is not known. Last weekend, amounts circulated between 2.5 and 4 million euros.

Doumbia signs a contract with Sporting until 2024. His agreement contains a clause that stipulates that an interested club can take over the 20-year-old Ivorian for 60 million euros.
