Everyone reacted disappointed after the game in Bremen. The expectations were high, the confusion and disappointment even bigger. Though most players said that the Mauves didn't diserve this defeat.

Daniel Zitka takes about the first goal of the Germans:
"I didn't make a mistake. Klose kicked the ball out of my hands", he said.

Aruna Dindane: "We controled the game, but we were too nervous. Maybe we wanted to play too good. It's hard to accept this defeat, but we have to conclude that the European top is still too far away for us."

Pär Zetterberg: "It's very hard now. This was our best game of the three, but we took two stupid goals. Such thing is not acceptable."

Glen De Boeck: "We certainly deserved a draw or more. If we can hold the lead, it will be a different game. Bremen played it well."
He also reacted on the defense with 3 players: "That's nothing bad. It just requires more discipline."

"This is very disappointing", said Vincent Kompany. "We had a lot of chances. We should have won. We played offensive, but we could only score once. It's not Aruna's or Mpenza's fault. We were all very tired by the end of the game. We tried, but we lost."

Olivier Deschacht: "We don't deserve this. You can't blame anybody. We had bad luck. This is the same team that overclassed Bayern München last year, so we certainly belong in the Champions League. We only have to be more efficient."

Hugo Broos: "We gave away two goals. We had several good chances, but missed them all. I think we played a good game. We tried to overcome the 1-2, but it didn't work out well for us. We have to be more professional. The disappointment is big. We should have won. We didn't deserve the defeat."
