TRANSFERS At Anderlecht they have gradually given up hope to sell Kara Mbodj this summer. The condition of his knees is too problematic. According to Sport / Voetbalmagazine, Devroe is now trying to find a club that wants Kara on loan.

Kara played his last real game on December 17th. On the final playing day he played against Genk, but then nothing was at stake and football was played at a leisurely pace. In the run-up to the World Cup, he played barely eight minutes for Senegal and in Russia he always stayed on the bench.

No wonder that interested clubs have doubts about Kara's medical condition. A few weeks ago, Kara underwent medical tests at Fulham, but he did not passed them. In the corridors it sounds that Kara's knees no longer have cartilage. "With Kara's knees you can not pass medical tests, even at Grimbergen," says an agent with good contacts in Anderlecht to Sport / Voetbalmagazine.

Anyway: Kara has no future at Anderlecht. Devroe now hopes to send the defender on loan. Maybe Kara can prove them wrong and still get a nice transfer.
