Another reaction from Aruna reached us: "It was really bad for me. One week in my country will do me good."

"I was really angry after the game against Benfica. But I had some time now to get over it. But still... The images of my team mates playing against Gent really hurt me. I have no problems with my team mates and the trainer, who did a lot for me. Unfortunatly I wasn't there with them and I'm sorry that I had to abandon the team. I called Lamine Traore after the game to congratulate him. I also tried to reach Vincent Kompany, but he didn't answer."

"I'm not going to comment the game against Gent. I saw the TV report though. We'll see if I'll ever play for Anderlecht again. I would like to focus on the interland now. Anderlecht came to a decission and so did I. I still want to come to an agreement with the club. I don't want to do anything bad. I was always correct for Anderlecht."

"staying away from trainings and a game may be bad. But I don't think I'm the bad guy here. There are things you don't know yet. I could go to Manchester United last year, without a transfer fee. But I refused. I signed for Anderlecht again with the promis I could leave later on. Anderlecht are now prepared change my contract. I like the sound of that. Like I already said: Anderlecht have to solve this with my representatives."

"I also want to say that no one influenced me. That's not true. I did this on my own. If you want to make progress in your life, then it's better to decide everything on your own."

"I don't know when I'll be back. I'll prepare the interland now. I'm more relaxed in my own country. Afterwards, I'll train with a local club to stay in shape. Which one? I don't want to say that... (Aruna played for Asec Mimosa from 1995 until 2000, so that club is a serious possibility). I will return when Anderlecht cleared everything out."
