Anderlecht's youth team lost the Viareggio tournament final yesterday. The Mauves were beaten by AC Milan with 1-3. Last year, Anderlecht had won the tournament against that same AC Milan.

The Mauves played an excellent tournament though. Several of their key players were not available because they were added to Anderlecht's A-team or loaned to other clubs. So with a new delegation, Anderlecht managed to reach the final for the second time in a row.

The game against Milan was decided after extra time. The Mauves had opened the score in the second half via Leya Iseka. But just a few minutes later, Petanga already equalised. In extra time, Fabbro and Mastalla gave Milan the victory. Anderlecht ended the match with ten when Bastien was excluded. Milan lost two players on red cards, namely Benedicic and Fabbro (right after scoring).
