Riots after Benfica-Anderlecht

After the game in Lisbon, seven Anderlecht hooligans were arrested. They arrived in the Portuguese capital to riot with local fans and the police. The result was a battle at a local subway station.


Amongst the injured, was also a Portuguese police officer.

According to the Dutch newspaper 'De Telegraaf', one of the arrest Anderlecht hooligans was even a Belgian police officer. He will have to account for his actions in Brussels upon his return. All of the arrested hooligans will get a large fine.
