INJURIES Fabrice N'Sakala looks back at his period at Anderlecht and sounds quite rancorous. It looks very unlikely he will ever come back to the Astridpark. However, the Anderlecht board does not deny a word of N'Sakala's statements. A brief summary.

About his substitution against STVV after only 28 minutes: "I was furious and wanted to throw away my shirt. I then realized I would leave Anderlecht and never come back again. I know I did not play well, but I think that's normal when nobody believes in you. I was only on the pitch because there was no alternative. I had no problem with the coach, but I know he didn't like me at all."

About Steven Defour: "Hasi didn't want me anymore after an incident with Steven Defour. Steven told the coach I had a bad influence on him. I saw Steven as a brother, I always defended him. Van Holsbeeck advised me to only look at myself, and he was right. Steven was protected by the Anderlecht board as he was our most expensive player."

About Silvio Proto and Dennis Praet: "There were clans in the squad. Some players had more privileges than others. Both Proto and Praet were protected, Suarez was often criticized in the press. Some players were even afraid to get criticized."

About Kara Mbodj: ""Kara has the aura to be a leader. However, he will never be accepted as a leader."

About Dodi Lukebakio: "He is well-paid and could do anything he wanted with the youth. However, he never did any effort to develop himself or to work harder."

About Besnik Hasi: "We always looked at the opponent. We knew how to take the ball, but didn't know what to do with it. We were just counting on the talent of our strikers."

Reaction Anderlecht: "We only look at the future"

Anderlecht does not deny what N'Sakala is claiming. "N'Sakala has his version, we have ours", communication manager David Steegen reacts. "This is the past. We are working on an entirely new team now and everyone starts from scratch."
