The European Commission starts an examination against Belgian national state support to football clubs. Such a support is legal in case it's being used for training young players.

But in reality, Belgian clubs use this money to pay salaries of youth players and their managers.

The money is absolutely necessary for the club though. Without this kind of support, Anderlecht would lose 8 million euro per year. This means that top talents such as Praet would be financially impossible to keep in Anderlecht.

This proves once again the football world is an unfair world, where large European clubs can make hundreds of millions in debts without any problem. But support to pay young players is considered to be a crime...
