TRANSFERS Robert Mak of POAK Saloniki may be the next player to join Anderlecht. The experienced Slovak international left the training camp of his Greek employer, which indicates that a transfer is close.

Fiorentina and Zenit St Petersburg are both interested as well. The Russians already have an agreement about the transfer fee with POAK, but so does Anderlecht. And the Belgian club seems to be in pole position. Mak's manager is currently in Brussels to negotiate about the transfer.

Mak was active with Slovakia on the European Championship. He already played 30 games for his country. The 25 year old player is also of great value for POAK. He scored 20 goals in the Greek League, Cup and Europa League combined. He was also good for three assists.
