Manager happy about UEFA measures

General Manager Herman Van Holsbeeck is pleased to see that the UEFA is suspending prize money to 23 European Clubs, respecting the financial fair play. "Belgian clubs will only benefit from these measures."


"Platini and his people are serious about this financial fair play, and it's a good thing", he begins. "In our Belgian system, we're used to keeping our books in order. If other European teams are forced to do the same, we will only benefit."

"At the moment, we have to compete with clubs who have way bigger budgets, but are in serious debt, and that's unfair. If this changes, the gap between us and the European top will bet smaller."
