Anderlecht did not go in appeal against the decision of UEFA to suspend Milan Jovanovic for the game against Milan, after an incident with some Limassol players after the qualification for the Champions League.

He will have to watch the game from the stands, next Tuesday, when Anderlecht plays AC Milan. "I respect the decision of the club, not to go in appeal, but I still think my punishment is unfair."

The referee's report was very clear, so much so that objecting the decision would have made absolutely no difference whatsoever. "I understand, everyone's explained it to me. Going in to appeal would have done nothing but delay the suspension. But still, for me personally, this is a disaster."
