Iakovenko wants to be in starting eleven

Sacha Iakovenko has proven to be a worthy replacement for Milan Jovanovic on the left wing. With both goals and assists, he has tried convincing his coach he has earned his place in the starting eleven.


This especially because Milan Jovanovic has been suspended by the UEFA for the game against AC Milan, next week in San Siro.

One of his strongest assets is his free kick. "I won't say they're better than Biglia's, but I know they're good. I used to train them with my father. Now, when we have a day off, I come down to the training ground to improve even more."

Iakovenko is determined to earn his place in John van den Brom's starting eleven, "but in live, nothing is achieved without hard work".
