Official: Nuytinck joins Anderlecht

It's official now: Bram Nuytinck has been introduced as Anderlecht's newest reinforcement. The 22 year old Dutch defender leaves his club NEC to join the Belgian champions.


Nuytinck is the captain of the U23 Dutch national team and was also being followed by several Italian top clubs and Ajax Amsterdam. Anderlecht probably paid around 3 million for the player. Vanden Stock: "Nuytinck is the most expensive defender ever to join Anderlecht."

Also manager Van Holsbeeck already reacted: "We try to land young promising players. Bram is a good example of our policy. We have been following him for a while already."

Bram Nuytinck himself said the following: "I am very happy to join Anderlecht. This will also give me the chance to compete in the Champions League. It is a huge step forward for me. I also want to thank the people of NEC. Their good care made this all possible for me now."
