"Cyriac and I will make a great team"

Gohi Bi Cyriac is the third player to transfer directly from Standard to rival Anderlecht. Mbokani and Jovanovic (the other ex-standard players) are looking forward to playing with him. "We'll make a great team", says 'Dieu'.


"We already had a good relationship at Standard," Mbokani explains. "He often came to me in Liege, and after a while I became sort of his guide. He is a good player and I'm convinced he has what it takes to succeed here. We'll do well together. If I'm still here by then, that is," he jokes.

"Of course it's not always going to be easy. The Standard supporters will give him a hard time, but he's strong, he can take it."

Milan Jovanovic is just as convinced of the young player's qualities: "He can definitely help us. I just hope he's back in good shape very soon."
