Mohammed Abu as Biglia's successor?

Anderlecht has to consider that key player Lucas Biglia might leave the club. In their search for a replacement, the name of Mohammed Abu comes up. Manager Herman Van Holsbeeck paid the player a personal visit in Norway.


The 20-year-old central midfielder is under contract with Manchester City, but has been on loan to the Norwegian club Stromgodset IF for the past 3 seasons.

According to Belgian newspaper ‘Het Nieuwsblad’, Anderlecht is hoping to close the deal rather soon. Abu has played 5 times for the Ghanaian national team and took part in the Africa Cup last January.
