TRANSFERS If Silvio Proto stays at Anderlecht next season, Davy Roef is allowed to leave Anderlecht on loan trial, without a purchase option. The board realizes that the young goalkeeper needs play time as soon as possible.

Anderlecht are still seeing Roef as a future number one goalie. Roef replaced Proto successfully last season for a couple of matches, but Anderlecht prefered to keep Proto as first goalkeeper. Roef did extend his contract at Anderlecht until 2020.

Anderlecht are not planning to let Roef leave the team permanently and also do not want to transfer him to a direct opponent. Anderlecht will need a new second goalkeeper if Roef leaves. Frank Boeckx has a contract until June and Liam Bossin and Mile Svilar are too young and unexperienced for the first team.
